Hello everyone!
I am starting this awesome new blog because I am getting ready to leave for Beijing! Since facebook is banned in China (Noooooo), this will be my way to communicate to the outside world. I will be in Beijing, China from Sept. 6 to Dec. 20. I want to share to everyone all of my adventures, the crazy foods I’ll eat, places I will see, and the people I’ll meet. I will miss all of you very much, and I hope that you will check this often! Jamie, one of my Delta Gamma sorority sisters who is studying abroad in Nanjing, China (12 hour train ride south from Beijing), have been e-maiing back and forth. She told me that the first week is difficult to adjust. I know that this will be a great outlet to everyone. I want to use this as a way to communicate what is going on in our lives. Till we meet again!

I LOVE YOU sooooooo much and miss you!!! i hope your preparations are going well and you are not freaking out too much...i cant even imagine what your room looks like right now... hahaha ok well i hope we talk soon!! love from africa! and( ITB of course ;) )
